Sidewalk Graffiti...

This is why I absolutely adore this little guy! Dyl's sidewalk graffiti totally melts my heart! It was so nice today to just stay home and hang out with Dyl. We didn't have a darn thing to do. We just hung out in the backyard...Being silly, drawing, and throwing the football back and forth.

Mom & Dyl just hangin' out...

Spongebob Squarepants
The busy little bumble bee...
The cow on Grandpa's farm...
A scary monster...
The praying mantis that was hangin' out on our front doorstep this summer...

Carving the Mummy...

Carving Dyl's pumpkin was an adventure to say the least. First of all, Mom has never carved a pumpkin before, secondly, Dyl picked the hardest pattern in the book...Third, add 2 curious, wild boys to the mix and this is what you end up with! By the way...the pictures don't do the mummy justice---He looked way better in real life!

Costume Parade @ Right Start Academy

Trick or treating at the Right Start Academy was a blast! Right Start Academy is located inside a 20,000 square foot building and is part of Black Diamond Gymnastics. The costume parade went all throughout the building with treats hiding everywhere!

This is Dyl with Miss Joanne. Dyl got to be the special leader for the costume parade!

Dyl says Hazel isn't his girlfriend...But he sure does talk about her a lot!

'Lil Punkins @ the Pumpkin Patch...

We sorta procrastinated on going to the pumpkin patch this year. Finally, when we were ready to go it snowed like mad! A couple of days later the snow was all melted and it was time for a pumpkin adventure! ...But it was FREEZING cold! The kids didn't seem to mind!

Shay had the bug and wasn't feeling so hot but she demanded we take her with us. She was quite a trooper and helped pick out the perfect pumpkin...But had to go back in the car when she couldn't quit coughing...

The face only a mother can love!

This is how much Dyl's pumpkin weighed...a whoppin' 22.2 lbs...

"Mom, hurry and take the picture...I'm frozen!

Scary or not...Here we come! In search of the perfect pumpkin: Mission accomplished!

Ghost Stories

Tonight Dylan drew some pictures and told me a few ghost stories. The first story was about a ghost who stole the snowman's carrot nose (It snowed a ton today.) If you look at the picture it may appear as if the ghost is flipping you off...But don't be offended...He's an innocent ghost who just wanted a carrot for lunch. Dyl also told a story about an apple and banana who wanted to eat each other and the pig who "tooted." Quite the imagination!

Handsome Young Thang!

Dyl was getting ready for school this morning and, as he was looking in the mirror and wetting down his hair, said, "Mom, I sure do look handsome today. It's a good thing I look so nice for the ladies!"
