Dylan: Mom, do you know how I got brown skin?
Mom: How's that?
Dylan: Because you look like your relatives. Me and Grandpa Findlay and my dad have brown skin. ...And you know where I got my black hair from?
Mom: Where?
Dylan: Well, it's not from Dad or Grandpa 'cuz they have black and white hair. I must have gotten it from the Incredible Hulk!

Welcome to our home...
Solicitor at the door: Hi, is your mom or dad here?
Dylan: Uh...don'tcha know my mom and dad are divorced? My dad can't come to the door if he doesn't even live here!

Pioneer Day Parade...Pocatello, Idaho!
We were showered with entertainment...and that was before the parade began!
Stupid boys doing stupid tricks with their monster trucks...
Coolin' off @ Ross Park
What I want most for Dylan is to know that he's part of something bigger and that he has many, many, many people who love him. When we talk about family, it's not just about Mom and Dyl. In fact, the other day we were at kindergarten orientation and had to fill out a paper of Dylan's favorites and a few things about him. When it came to the question of "How many people do you have in your family?" --Dylan turned it into a very complicated answer! The answer started with Mom (1), Dylan (2), Chase (3), Grandma (4), Grandpa (5)...etc, etc, etc! I think by time Dylan got done we ended up with 27 people in Dylan's family! ...Not quite so sure that's the answer Ms. Raines was looking for---but, nowadays, that can be an extremely complicated question! :) It's the most awesome thing in the world that none of my siblings have moved too far away. We make every possible effort to get the kids together and Dylan absolutely adores his cousins. Every time I blink my eyes these kids have grown another inch. God definitely blessed our family with a bunch of strong, beautiful, fun-loving kids! We spent the weekend in Pokey @ Payton's house and he had lots planned out for us to do! 2nd stop...Swimming at Ross Park...Dylan's never been down a hydro tube before and wasn't the least bit scared. Kinda funny how, when it comes to things that SHOULD be scary he doesn't have a care in the world--Yet little things like baby animals terrify him. Dylan walked right up to the top of the slide and splashed down with amazing skill and a huge sense of adventure. Chase had to sit around and watch for some time but, eventually he got brave and went in for the plunge as well. Love, love, love these kids!
